TOP STORY DWF to become DWF Pro For seven years, the DWF's mission statement has been: Help professionals improve their art and improve their businesses. On July 16th, the DWF will change its membership requirements to better serve our mission. Starting on July 16th, anyone who wishes to join the DWF must meet any one of the following three conditions: Have a professional website A tax certificate proving a business exists Work as a f/t, p/t, freelance shooter for a studio. To reflect these new membership parameters, the DWF will be renamed DWF Pro. We will only grant membership to those photographers who have working businesses. We're excited that DWF Pro will provide an elevated level of discussion for those who shoot to earn income! FOR THOSE "GETTING READY" New DWF Forum On July 17th, the DWF will open a new forum specifically catered to those who are planning to start careers in professional photography. The DWF will screen applicants for the new forum to ensure that it does not become a site for hobbyists.
