ROCKSTARS: Love 'em or Loath 'em |
"Rockstar"
is an ugly word and that's about the only consensus DWF Pro
members can reach. Over the past week a new verbal storm has
emerged around the topic of “earning your success.”
The discussion is polarizing: Male rockstars v. female
rockstars, new blood v. the old guard and of course
professional jealousy. Since the DWF is comprised of pros from
all walks of life and all level of success, you’ll see a wide
range of equally valid yet different opinions.
Grab some popcorn and consider whether you want to be “just
like (insert your favorite rockstar here)” or.. yourself!

PORTRAITS: Go Storefront? |
Oh,
if you could go back and do it all over again. Your teenagers
won’t listen to your words of wisdom, but when it comes to
business, your fellow DWF members will.
One DWF Pro got some invaluable advice from members on
making the move to a store-front. What worked, what didn’t
and what they would do differently if they had the chance to
do it again. It’s a must read if you’re considering moving out
of your home studio. If you’ve already taken the leap, chime
in, share your insights and help out another member.
