DWF Convention: Awesome
Follow-Up! |
 It was an amazing week in Carefree, AZ: The DWF Convention sponsored by Zookbinders is over, and now you can read all about it, see the pix, and even watch the videos in the DWF Convention Forum.
We’d like to thank the attendees, the inspiring presenters, and here’s what makes the DWF Convention different: Many of the Seminar Leaders have posted follow-up threads in the DWF Convention Forums, where they’re responding to attendee questions.

 As we announced a few weeks back, DWF Start memberships are changing for the better.
We're redoing the program to put more focus and emphasis on helping Start members grow. Along with that, we've placed all DWF Start members on a free trial of all of the cool new features! So what are you waiting for?

 Not Obama, in this case. For the first time ever, the DWF has appointed a Chief Moderator.
Amy Prutch is a longtime DWF member and mod who’s been incredibly dedicated to the community for years. She’s consistently taken a common sense approach to moderation and has developed many, many, friendships on the DWF. She and her husband JP own a studio outside Portland, Oregon. Many members know them the for strange and twisted contortions they coax out of photographers in their kick-ass Sloppy Dancing videos, shot at all of the DWF Conventions.

 Aside
from her work at
the top tier of
wedding
photography as
half of The
Bebbs, Jen Bebb
has been an
incredibly
devoted and
selfless part of
the DWF
Community.
She
served as a
moderator for a
year and a half.
She ran the
Mentoring
Sessions for the
DWF Conventions,
giving hundreds
of members an
opportunity to
have their
portfolio’s
critiqued, an
effort that this
year, raised
$5,000 for
cancer research.
Her helpfulness
has been noticed
and appreciated
by so many DWF
members.
As she “takes
a step back from
the virtual
world” vowing to
spend more time
in the real one
that’s in front
of her, we offer
a heartfelt
thank you.
