Just to be Fair, Pix of McCain, Nader or Ron Paul?
DWF
member Tamara Lackey received not one, but three great
photo opportunities in the space of a day or two: To
photograph Barack Obama, to meet and have a photo taken with
Annie Leibowitz, and the next day, to photograph Bill Clinton.
For those who say, “How does one get those opportunities?”,
Tamara shot a wedding last year for a bride connected to Obama
and stayed in touch with that connection.
Terry Michael also attended a private event with former
president Bill Clinton and got an intimate photo of him
talking to his wife on the cell phone.
DWF
Convention 2009 is under construction right now, and you
are invited to submit suggestions for speakers, presentations,
and topics for next January. Every idea will be carefully
considered. The DWF Convention will be held in Phoenix,
January 11-14th, 2009. There’s more information coming!
DWF
member Jennifer Domenick and Mary Gardella of Love Life
Images in Maryland are launching a charitable program called
Photo Nights for Charity and their first guest photographers
will be Rita and Joel Wiebner. Guest photographers will share
their work and their philosophy and all proceeds will be
donated to charity.
Miami member Stacy Ambrosia is asking for old point and
shoot cameras, and old CF cards for a photography program for
disadvantaged ‘last chance’ kids. You can help them photograph
and bond to their communities with your donation. Stacy needs
14 more cameras and CF cards and will even pay for shipping.

We
love discovering brides talking about WedFog! It’s like
eavesdropping when a a bride writes on their blog or elsewhere
on the web about finding a photographer via WedFog,..
"I think I found my photographer, and in doing my research
WedFog was a great resource for discovering photographers
in my area....Looking through the photo galleries can be kind
of addicting, especially because you can browse by color. I
LOVE browsing by color." Another bride to be posted in the
weddingbee forums, "I would check this site out (WedFog) if
you are looking for a photographer...It lets you search by
city, price, and even has links/info. Good place to start."
Photographers are discovering WedFog is a great source for
finding brides, because it’s a great resource for brides
themselves.
