Digital Photography 2.0: What's Next? |

Cameras that won't take the picture til everyone is smiling
and no one is blinking? Cameras and software that allow you to
adjust the depth of field, after the picture has been taken?
Software that can clear up a picture taken with a shaky hand?
3D Holographic pictures?
In the near future, advances, either in cameras themselves or
in post processing software, will produce techniques that go
under the broad heading of Computational Photography

I Can't Believe I was Moderated! |
|
Quiz Question: How many DWF posts are moderated on the
average day?
DWF members post 1,700 times a day, and on a typical day we
moderate three of them. Sometimes on a bad day, we'll moderate
7 posts! It's not an arbitrary process: We have a moderator's
forum, where our 11 moderators consult each other and act by
consensus. Usually one mod draws the short straw and has to
deliver the bad news: You've been moderated and here's why.
It's not the end of the world, and it doesn't make you a bad
person. It merely means your post was outside of the DWF
rules. We thought you'd like to know that the DWF rules are
posted in the FAQ, which is a menu link on nearly every page
of the DWF
