So many people suggest seminars for the convention, and we always say the same thing: Make sure to step up when we ask for submissions!
If you'd like to conduct a seminar at DWF 2008 in Tampa, we're now accepting proposals from members who have something specific to teach, and are ready to work with us on creating a fantastic program for our members. The deadline for submissions is June 15th. |

DWF member Marc Eric is organizing a Trash the Dress portfolio shoot in Atlantic City, to be held after hours during DWF University this July. Brides are being screened, and you'll be able to shoot them making a mess of the dress (with releases) for your own portfolio. DWF University remains open to registrations until the final 9 seats are filled, but you have to act soon is you want a room at the Trump Taj Mahal at our unbelievable room rate of $139/night.

The Artist's Way is a book by Julia Cameron about rediscovering your creativity and inner artist, via a series of exercises over 12 weeks. DWF member Rebecca Portsmouth has been the driving force in creating a special Artist's Way subforum on the DWF. Since the excersizes are rather personal, it's a limited access forum, but there's no extra fee. There's a thread on the DWF that explains how to get involved.
